No Need to Dread Payroll, Let Us Handle the Details So You Can Focus on Your Business

It's a well known fact that one of the biggest reasons companies fail is not because they don't have orders, but that they can't bridge the time gap between paying out for goods and services and being paid by their clients.  We have found over the twenty or so years that CLAi have been in business that the key to avoiding this is to be constantly aware of our outgoings and income, to be able to finely balance that equation and react well before a potential problem becomes a door closing reality.
Achieving this is down to one thing - a great bookkeeper who not only understand how to keep figures in order, but how to give you all of the right feedback in a timely manner...  in a language that actually makes sense to normal people!

CLAi have been fortunate enough to have had the services of Christensen & Ebert for several years now, and have found that not only are they good with numbers and columns, but they are able to provide the sort of advice that has helped us to avoid difficulties and maximize upon the financial opportunities that have arisen.  Christensen and Ebert is like having a very small accountant in the closet - on call when you need them, knowledgeable and extremely thorough, but without the huge bills and bad ties.

Christensen and Ebert Insurance and Financial Services was recommended to us right when I was about to throw QuickBooks out the window. We own a restaurant on Seabright, The Drunk Monkeys. We are very “hands on” owners, and I wanted to be set up and taught how to take care of our restaurant’s finances the right way, so that anytime I needed a report for the kitchen, or for a bank I would have it at my fingertips. We had been through 4 bookkeepers in one year who all claimed they could get us set up, but each one of them failed to understand and help with our unique business and software that wasn’t really designed to work for our restaurant needs. On the first visit, Candace came in and rigged our system with a couple of journal entries to capture our daily sales and credit card transactions, then she set me up so all I would have to do enter in our numbers daily. On her second visit, about a week later she made sure that I was on the right path and made recommendations to help things run smoother.

We now see Candace once a month, she checks in to make sure that everything is going as it should be, and answers any questions I have. If something comes up in between visits all I have to do is call or send her an email and she gets back to me right away. I even was able to save 50% on my payroll costs from the first visit. The best part though is at the end of the day I have the confidence in our numbers to make the best financial decisions as our restaurant grows.
